Producing an exhaust system for Volkswagen 7th generation GTI was no easy feat. Luckily we already have four generations of GTI under our belts. Merging decades of experience with hundreds of hours of prototyping, engineering, dyno testing, and daily usage evaluation has output an exhaust system that is the ultimate compliment to GTI lineage. With options to go around, this is AWE finest GTI exhaust to date.
What may look like a simple design is actually one of our most comprehensive engineering feats to date. The exhaust is three simple parts, making it one of the easiest systems to install. The reconfiguration of the flex pipe on the Performance Downpipe ensures that stress goes where it should. And no spacers. And no exhaust paste needed. The list goes on. This exhaust offering is something special.
The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is for those who want to turn it up to 11. The MK7 GTI Track Edition Exhaust takes all of the handcrafted engineering of the Touring Edition Exhaust, and replaces the resonator with a straight pipe section for a more aggressive tone (and a more aggressive price to boot). Please note: this is a loud system and buyers should be aware. This product cannot be returned or exchanged based upon volume preference. However, it can be converted to a Touring Edition.

***ORDER CANCELLATIONS***
All order cancellations are processed during regular business hours only. Any order cancellation requests made outside of business hours will be processed during the next business day.
Any cancelled orders including orders that have not shipped will be subject to a 3.5% cancellation fee to offset order processing fees that are not refunded to BMP Tuning. Additionally, if your order has already shipped, you may incur additional fees if the shipment needs to be recalled and/or rerouted back to BMP Tuning.
Some products sold cannot be cancelled after the order has been placed due to agreements with the manufacturer, or in the case of made to order/custom items. This may be noted in the product description.
Please note: Cancellations made after hours, on the weekend, or on a holiday may not be processed for cancellation prior to the order being processed and shipped.
CTS TURBO CANCELLATIONS - CTS Turbo charges a 5% cancellation fee that we cannot waive. For CTS Turbo products, BMP Tuning will not charge the standard cancellation fee of 3.5%. However, customers will be responsible for the 5% cancellation fee that CTS TURBO charges.
***RETURNS AND EXCHANGES***
BMP Tuning will accept returns for UNUSED merchandise in original packaging within 1 YEAR from the time of purchase!
UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING that are RETURNED WITHIN 60 DAYS of purchase are eligible for a refund to the original payment method used.
UNUSED products in ORIGINAL PACKAGING returned PAST THE 60 DAY MARK and within the 1 year return period are eligible for store credit only. After 60 days, non-stocked items will be accepted at the discretion of BMP Tuning.
UNUSED products MUST BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, containing all accessories, labels, and documentation.
***TUNING SOFTWARE AND CABLES***
BMP Tuning will NOT accept returns for any tuning software or tuning cables. This includes, but is not limited to:
- ECU Tunes
- TCU Tunes
- Tuning Cables such as IE POWERlink V4 Flash Cable, APR Ultralink, Unitronic UniCONNECT+ Cable, 034Motorsport Dynamic+ Tuning Cable
- Plug and Play Tuners such as Burger Motorsports JB4, COBB AccessPort
**CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORIGINAL AND RETURN*** ***SHIPPING EXPENSES**
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs/fees – original shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and items shipped with FREE shipping will still be subject to actual shipping charges being NON-REFUNDABLE. BMP Tuning is not responsible for damage to items being returned to us by the shipping carrier and will contact you so that you can file a claim if an item arrives damaged.
Any returned item is subject to a fee of 15%.
Restocking fees are WAIVED if product is exchanged for other items or choose store credit. They are also waived if incorrect product is received and the issue cannot be remedied.
KATAPULT: Katapult does not allow us to issue partial refunds. Katapult orders that are cancelled prior to fulfilment will be refunded 100% directly through Katapult. For Returns: Any Katapult purchases that require a partial refund will be given back to the customer as a store credit. No restocking fees will be deducted. However, the original shipping costs on the order will be deducted and the customer will also be responsible for the shipping costs to return item(s) to BMP Tuning.

If you need to return an item that does not fit your vehicle and you feel that there is an error in our listing, please contact us immediately. Be sure to keep all packing material, boxes and photos of the damage as this will be necessary to complete the damage claim with the specific courier. UPS/FED EX Typically take 8-15 business days to complete their investigation, however, this time frame could be extended depending on circumstances. Please add that in the event an item is damaged or missing, we can only replace the item and not issue a refund.

Vroom vroom, I’m in me mums car
Pretty good subtle exhaust but really growls when you step on it, paired with a burble tune and it sounds amazing
Fast Shipping and AMAZING Customer Service!
Called to inquire about the AWE Track Exhaust and pleasantly they answered the phone right away even late at night. Shipping was ultra fast, like 2-3 days cross country fast, and product came as expected in a well packaged box. Will definitely order again from BMP Tuning.
Slightly Disappointed
I was super excited to order the catback track exhaust, but was let down due to the craftsmanship of the product. The packaging and shipping was good, but upon inspecting the exhaust, the welds where the muffler is attached and also the section where the 3 inch pipe connects to the duel exit part of the exhaust looked like they were done by an amateur. There was weld splatter all over the place and in some places multiple beads on top of each other. Looking at the chrome tips, the same shotty welding could be seen been neath the chrome plating. Installing the exhaust was straight forward, but I did have a fitment issue when installing the mid muffler section with the dual outlet section. It could have happened during shipping, but the slip fit end of the dual outlet section was oval in shape and not round making it difficult to install. I had to heat up the end with a torch and hammer in the 3" side of the supplied reducer to make the end round for the mid section to slip in. Sound wise it is loud. I have it mated to the AWE down pipe and I'm running stage 2 unitronic tune. Cold starts have a very deep tone and growl. I've already put around 600 miles on the system so I feel it is already broken in for the most part. At 50% throttle I get very bad drone coming up to 40mph which shakes everything in the car. Cruising at 65 mph there is almost no drone, but at 70 there is more drone, just under my tolerance for annoging. At 75 mph the drone almost goes away.
BEST SOUNDING EXHAUST
WOW!! No joke, this exhaust is AMAZING. Drone isn't even as bad as advertised, nice and subtle in low rpms but ROARS in high rpms! HIGHLY recommended !
The best exhaust to not **** off everyone around you.
I was worried this Track exhaust would be excessively loud and annoying but it 100% isn't! Sometimes youtube videos are also misleading, but after listening to so many i bit the bullet and ordered it. I've also got the factory downpipe and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon, but if you do AWE does sell a track -> touring conversion on their website. Honestly, taking the factory exhaust off was a lot harder than putting the new one on. The best way I can say it is, the sound is a very "mature" sound. Cold starts sound amazing and have a nice burble, once its warmed up the idle burble sounds really nice too almost like a boxer motor but not as deep of a rumble. Just driving around town and not gunning it you can definitely tell your exhaust is aftermarket and it's not high pitched ricey either. If you floor it, it doesn't get super raspy and the DSG farts sound AMAZING. The only drone that even happens is if you're going up a hill at like highway speeds and you get on the throttle, even then the drone isn't that loud and could easily be overpowered by the stereo. Cruising on flat highway at 65-75mph there isn't any drone at all. I will say, the volume is less than I expected but that is what I wanted. I wanted an exhaust that wasn't obnoxiously loud, sounded great, and didn't drone or have excessive rasp. The only negative is it took a while for it to ship, but BMP tuning was very good about keeping me updated, so I probably will buy through them again!
